Urban Research Exchange
On Friday, September 18th, faculty and staff engaged in urban-related research came together to share their current research and explore areas of interdisciplinary collaboration.
Sponsored by the School of Public Policy and Urban Affairs, this Urban Research Exchange convened nearly 30 researchers covering a range of topics including urban health, transportation, environmental sustainability, housing, criminal justice, community and economic development, architecture and urban design, technology, public education, nonprofit community organizations, and more.
According to Chris Bosso, Associate Dean for the School: "Faculty throughout Northeastern are doing outstanding work on a wide range of urban related topics. However, they rarely get a chance to discuss their work with colleagues outside their own units. Our hope with the urban research exchange is to enable these researchers to learn more about each other's work while also generating opportunities for interdisciplinary collaboration."
