Social Science Research Workshop
The Social Science Research Workshop is an opportunity for faculty in the School of Social Science, Urban Affairs, and Public Policy to discuss ongoing or recent work with faculty colleagues, graduate students, and other members of the larger NU community.
Each discussion is built around a working paper or publication distributed as background reading via the School's website at least one week prior to the date in question. There is an emphasis on the exchange of ideas, with a secondary goal of exposing doctoral students in particular to the varied topics and methods of study extant in the social sciences.
All workshops are sponsored by the School of Social Science, Urban Affairs, and Public Policy in collaboration with its departments and programs.
