Partnership With Journalism
The School is working with the Northeastern University School of Journalism to train the next generation of journalists to better understand and report on important public policy issues, enable social scientists to better understand how media affect the shape and direction of public policy, and create new venues for interaction among journalists, policy oriented social scientists, and policymakers.
For its part, the School of Journalism is committed to teaching the best principles and practices of its craft, to providing future journalists with a liberal education, and, through Northeastern's signature cooperative education program, to providing integrated learning through strong and longstanding relationships with local print and broadcast outlets that are the envy of journalism programs everywhere.
The two schools are pleased to announce the creation of a new Journalism and Public Policy concentration in the MA in Journalism program, to be available starting with the Fall 2008 class. Additional information on the concentration will be posted very soon.
