Graduate Students Honored
Two students from departments of the School of Social Science, Urban Affairs and Public Policy have won Outstanding Graduate Student Awards from The Office of the Provost and the Graduate and Professional Student Association.
Sandra Arevalo, a Sociology graduate student received a research award for her work entitled Humantities, Social and Behavioral Sciences, and Political Science graduate student Christine Chanyasulkit earned an award for community service.
A ceremony to honor their accomplishments and the accomplishments of the other winners will be held from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, March 17 at the Raytheon Amphitheater. All graduate students, faculty and staff are invited to attend.
