OPPORTUNITIES: Massachusetts Democratic Party Diversity Internship Program -- Deadline March 31
The Massachusetts Democratic Party wants to provide 15 interns with the tools that they need to build careers and become leaders in public service, policy and politics. They hope that the interns will have the opportunity to network and develop long-term relationships during their internship that will provide them the resources to pursue a career in public service. Goals and components of the program:- Involve 15 students from community and four-year colleges or a current Senior or high school graduate
- Provide an 11 week paid, full-time internship to each student
- Immerse students in 1 week of training and preparation at MDP headquarters, continue training component throughout internship
- Pair students with mentors who are successful in the public service realm
- Place participants in state government, public policy, non-profit, organized labor, private and political settings
