OPPORTUNITIES: University of New Hampshire seeks a full-time lecturer - Deadline March 24
The University of New Hampshire seeks a full-time lecturer to teach the equivalent of 6 units or courses per year in Hood House. Primary responsibilities would be towards the Center for International Education and the International Affairs dual major, secondary responsibilities would address the needs of the University Honors Program, with occasional contributions to the Hamel Center for Undergraduate Research.
The initial appointment will be for a period of one year, beginning August 1, 2008, with the possibility of reappointment based on evidence of sound teaching, curricular planning and development and active participation in the collaborative efforts of CIE, UHP and the Hamel Center. MA is required, ABD desired, PhD preferred. Candidates should demonstrate a strong commitment to international studies, global literacy and excellence in education, field of expertise in the humanities/social sciences. Salary depending on degree earned: $ 28,000 to $ 32,000 + full benefits.
