OPPORTUNITIES: Global Pathways Searching for Volunteers
Northeastern University's Global Pathways program (http://global-pathways.com/Northeastern/index.php) is searching for English speakers to volunteer for its Global Awareness Program (GAP). This program will pair English speaking volunteers with international students seeking to improve their English and learn more about American culture.
Volunteers will be asked to meet a few times a month with an international student for simple conversation. Conversation sessions will typically last thirty minutes to one hour, and may be held at a location of the volunteers’ choosing.
Volunteers will also be able to join Global Pathways on many of its exciting excursions. In the past, the group has attended Celtics games, watched Blue Man Group perform at the Charles Theatre, visited the MFA and Museum of Science, and taken field trips throughout New England.
