Admissions
Admissions to the Master in Urban and Regional Policy program is on a rolling basis throughout the year. All applications must be submitted online using the Northeastern University Apply Yourself system.
Required Admissions Materials
Required materials for admission consideration include:
- Complete online application
- A current resume
- Official copies of all transcripts
- Three letters of recommendation
- A personal statement explaining career interests and reasons for applying to this program
Undergraduate Record
A mimimum undergraduate grade point average of 3.0 out of 4.0 is ideal. We welcome applicants from any background who have relevant experience and are committed to pursuing careers in urban and regional policy.
English Proficiency for all International Applicants
International students are required to meet one of the following standards:
- TOEFL (79-80 iBT)
- IELTS
- Degree earned at a U.S. institution, or
- Degree earned at an institution where English is the only medium of instruction
Admissions Deadline Dates
- Fall Semester: August 1st
- Spring Semester: December 1st
