Data Day is biennial conference offering training on how to use technology and data to build support for innovative public policy and to advance community change. Northeastern University’s School of Social Science, Urban Affairs and Public Policy is launching a Master’s in Urban and Regional Policy, a new interdisciplinary program aimed at developing the next generation of top-level researchers and strategists in urban and regional policymaking.
The program is designed to prepare leaders for positions in an array of urban-focused public, nonprofit and private sector institutions. Students will develop sophisticated analytical skills combined with a thorough understanding of how cities and regions function.
The School welcomes two young scholars to its already strong group of faculty who focus their research and teaching on some aspect of the urban experience.
We are pleased to add Professors Vicino and Weinstein to our faculty ranks, particularly as we start our new MS in Urban and Regional Policy.
